About Us

Dyckman Electric was founded in 2009 by Ian Dyckman, electrical contractor, born and raised in Lahaina, Maui. Ian's electrical experience has spanned decades and has taken him from wiring new construction tract homes on Maui, to installing bomb detection security at Pier One for the military on Oahu. Ian spent time working in commercial construction in Australia before establishing his electrical company in his home town of Lahaina, servicing both residential and commercial electrical construction throughout West Maui. 

​​Ian's father, Pat Dyckman, was a beloved contractor in Lahaina since the 70's who instilled the work ethic and construction knowledge that Ian brings to every project. Ian is married to wife, Melissa who manages the office of Dyckman Electric and they have an eight year old daughter, Quinn. ​Ian knew after the Lahaina fire that his mission would be to help his community rebuild and he intends to see that through.​
